The Mummy MOT

The Mummy MOT is a specialist 6-week post natal check that tests the muscles of the tummy and pelvic floor. It is recommended for all women after having a baby - whether 6 weeks or many years after. According to research, 50% of women do not perform pelvic floor exercises correctly. To avoid long-term childbirth related issues come early and get your pelvic floor and tummy gap tested by a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist. A bespoke post natal exercise plan is given as well as advice on safe exercising. Instability and a poor core can result in back pain, pelvic pain, bladder and bowel issues.

Meditation and Mindfulness Training
with Karina Wilson-Meijer - 07787 506 378

Life tends to present us with many obstacles. Sometimes these roadblocks stop us in our tracks and we have no way of figuring out how to continue on our journey.

Mindfulness and meditation training will teach you how to calm your busy mind and learn to access the natural stillness within yourself. Once we learn to sit and just breathe, our constant stream of thought is interrupted and we can feel liberated from the voice in our head, let go of negative thoughts and learn to live in the present moment.

Karina seeks to empower people to access their natural inner wisdom and peace.

Meditation courses and individual sessions take place at SoulBreath - a new centre for the study and practice of meditation, located alongside Quantum Life in Mill Lodge.

Systematic kinesiology
with Cemile Lisa Kiazim - 07597 552 768

Systematic Kinesiology (pronounced kin-easy-ology) was developed by Dr. Goodheart in 1964. It is a totally wholistic therapy using the body's bio-feedback mechanism through muscle testing to gain information about the client. The basic tool within Kinesiology is the muscle test, which is the ability to hold a muscle against light pressure. Initially, testing a series of muscles highlights which area to focus on.

The Systematic Kinesiologist will start by discussing your health status with you and from the information received, they will then begin by doing a series of muscle tests. If a muscle tests 'spongy' it gives an indication to the Systematic Kinesiologist of how to proceed.

Each time a relevant factor is introduced the muscle's response changes, similar to a switch. Based on this feedback the Systematic Kinesiologist and the client can devise a procedural plan when the muscle can be re-tested at a future consultation.

Suggestions and advice may include nutritional supplements, relaxation techniques, lifestyle changes and more.
